My Favorite Crockpot Recipes

One of the ways that I like to keep things interesting around here is to try new and different recipes all the time. Sometimes they are totally new and other times they are just variations of recipes that I’ve tried before. I pull from a lot of different sources – blogs, pinterest, cookbooks, magazines, newspapers, e-books, and so on and so forth. This means I have tried quite a few things, but not all things are worthy to be eaten again. Some things I try are total flops. But here, in no particular order, are the crockpot recipes from around the web that I’ve personally tried and that I think are delicious.

Slow Cooker Crockpot

Easy Chicken Cacciatore

This is a great recipe and I always feel super healthy when I eat it! Gluten free and full of lots of vegetables. And makes your house smell amazing when you are cooking it.

Crockpot Taco Chicken Chili

We love basically anything taco in this house. It is definitely a reoccurring theme and it’s awesome to see how many different ways that you can make it. There are a lot of variations of taco chicken chili – we happen to like this one.

Italian Crockpot Chicken

This is an easy variation of spaghetti to make. Growing up, I always ate spaghetti with ground beef and so the chicken is a nice change. Plus! Super easy.

Crockpot Cheese Tortellini

I usually avoid pasta in the crockpot because sometimes it turns out weird. But this one turned out great and my kids love tortellini.

Crockpot Chicken and Noodles

I’ve actually blogged about this recipe before. I really like this one, it’s simple and it reminds me of a meal that I used to love in high school that they served in our cafeteria. I like a lot of healthier meals too, but sometimes, you just need comfort food.

Slowcooker Chicken Parmesan

I like using my crockpot for things you would usually make in the oven. I can’t explain why, but cooking with my crockpot, I feel more like I can take my time. It feels less rushed than making dinner at 5 when everybody is already hungry.

Crockpot Chicken Tacos

I make this quite frequently! It’s easy and like I said above, we love taco everything in this house.

Crockpot Swiss Chicken Casserole

This one has stuffing in it, so it’s no surprise I love it. Stuffing is one of my favorite foods and can definitely be enjoyed year-round, not just on Thanksgiving.

Crockpot Baked Pasta

This was another pasta in the crockpot recipe that turned out well. Make sure you follow the directions and do not pre-cook your pasta!

Crockpot Beef Stroganoff

We love beef stroganoff so making it in the crockpot is a match made in heaven.

Crockpot Garlic Petso Chicken with Pasta in a Tomato Cream Sauce

This recipe name makes it sound more complicated than it is. Pesto is something that I love but I never tried until I was older. My kids have come to love pesto too, so this goes over pretty well in our house.

Easy Pulled Pork

This is a favorite and it makes great leftovers as well. I always love recipes that reheat well or can be used in many different ways.

Island Chicken

This one is great over rice. I am sure you have noticed a lot of the recipes feature chicken, but I love how versatile chicken is and how it lends itself to lots of different flavors.

Crockpot Pork Chop Dinner with Potatoes and Carrots

I love recipes where the meat and vegetables cook together because then it’s one less thing I have to cook at dinner. This is a great one, especially when pork chops go on sale.

Crockpot Chicken Tacos

If you kids do not like salsa, this may be a better option for chicken tacos for you as you could remove some of the cooked meat before adding the salsa. We like both, they are just different tastes.

BBQ Pork Sandwiches

We love these and they could be dressed up very easily into more things – not just BBQ.

Slow Cooker Beef Ragu with Mushrooms and Peppers

I must confess I take the mushrooms out of this one, but it is regardless a great recipe. Our family enjoys food dumped over pasta.

Meatball Sub Sandwiches

You can cook this for two hours on high instead of four hours on low if you are short on time. We also frequently eat it with mozzarella cheese instead of parmesan cheese, but both cheese are good and would probably be good together.

I will try and update this post when I come across new crockpot recipes that are delicious 🙂
